Learn the basics of case binding while making a ¾ cloth sketchbook with the front board covered in your own decorated paper created in class. The text of heavier 65# cover paper, in a larger 9 x 10-1/2 inch landscape format, is ideal for sketches, watercolor pencil drawings, pastels or writing. This class is an excellent preparation for Artist Book structures, and can be an alternative to the Bookbinding Warm Up, a smaller format book great for journaling. Or take both!

The 3/4 cloth binding has full cloth on the back for more durability when sketching, and 1/4 cloth on the cover to feature your decorative paper, while giving definition to the front of the book.
