Goldprint photomontage produced by Paula Hocks in 2000, a collage technique where the image is reproduced on a metalic gold surface. Paula celebrated the rose, the flower than had become the emblem of Barcelona.
From her photographs of Barcelona’s streets and people, the unique architecture of Antoni Gaudi and Mies van der Rohe, and the classic arts of a place both appreciative and complacent regarding it creative accomplishments, Hocks developed lasting images of her beloved Barcelona.
